Phone broken and insured with a.s.r.?

At a.s.r. damage to your phone, tablet or laptop is compensated via the optional coverage Mobile Electronics on your household insurance. This module is not standard with a.s.r.; you take it out separately on top of your contents policy.

If you have the Mobile Electronics coverage, then fall, impact and water damage to your device is insured, both at home and on the road. There is no deductible and no maximum insured amount for your devices.

When does a.s.r. compensate for damage to your device?

a.s.r. assesses each claim on the basis of your policy conditions. These are the most common situations with contents insurance with the Mobile Electronics option coverage.

Fall damage to your phone, tablet or laptop (with Mobile Electronics)
Impact damage, including from your own clumsiness
Accidental water damage
Damage from fire or storm in the home (contents policy)

Wear or aging, such as a declining battery
