Phone broken and insured with Unigarant?

Unigarant is a 100% subsidiary of the ANWB and, under its own brand and as administrator of ANWB insurance policies, offers, among other things, household contents insurance. Damage to your phone, tablet or laptop can often be compensated through your contents policy, provided there is coverage for mobile electronics.

Whether your device is covered depends on your policy. In some variants, mobile electronics are included in the comprehensive or All Risk coverage. In other cases, you need the Smartphone and tablet supplementary module or an Out of home coverage for damage while on the road.

When does Unigarant reimburse damage to your device?

Unigarant assesses each claim based on your policy conditions. These are the most common situations with contents insurance, possibly extended with All Risk, Outdoor coverage or the Smartphone and tablet module.
