This week, OnePlus released two new models, the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro. More than half a year after the OnePlus 7T was launched. What is interesting about the two versions is that they are already available for the 5G network that is currently much in demand. What do we think of the OnePlus 8?

OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro

Price-wise, they do slightly off each other. The OnePlus 8 Pro will be available in a few days for €899; the OnePlus 8 will cost €699. The Pro model can charge wirelessly with a 30W wireless charger. OnePlus itself will soon offer these for €69 in their own web shop. Let’s contrast the devices in terms of specs. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a 6.8” OLED screen, 120HZ and 3168×1440 pixels. The 8 has a slightly smaller 6.5” OLED screen with 90HZ and 2400×1080 pixels. Both devices are available in 128GB and 256GB storage. So just to be clear, the OnePlus 8 is not available for wireless charging! By the way, the OnePlus 8 Pro is available in Onyx Black, Glacial Green and Ultramarine Blue colors. The OnePlus 8 is available in the same colors except the Ultramarine Blue, which has been substituted for the Interstellar Glow.

OnePlus and Sony

As OnePlus itself revealed on Instagram in a post, they have teamed up with Sony for the cameras that will be in the devices. As we have come to expect from OnePlus, the devices always feature superb cameras. In this, the OnePlus 8 series does not detract from it. Just some of the specs at a glance;

What do we think of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro?
