8x Smartphone Fails

At the end of each calendar year, Van Dale, known for its dictionaries, announces the word of the year. In 2017, it was between fipronilei and appong, with the latter being declared the winner. We immediately thought of an app accident as accidentally sending a whatsapp to the wrong person, but it’s about accidents in traffic that are caused by apping. Well we are not going to show car accidents, but we do like to show in what silly ways people break their smartphones.

Idiot fads come and go. For example, people lay down like a board on all kinds of objects, it was “in” to hit buildings with the male genitalia, and you have to jump like hell on something when someone shouts that the floor is made of lava. But surely the most idiotic fad is “phone pinching. Don’t try this at home.

Swimming is dol-fine!

How many times do we have to say it? Don’t go swimming with your smartphone in hand. Fortunately, most devices these days are waterproof, but you still have to find it again. In the Bahamas, they’ve figured something out.

Of course, when you have thousands of followers, you have to make them jealous when you are on vacation and lying in a pool. That’s what this girl thought, too. Fortunately, she didn’t need a dolphin.
