Use your Samsung Smart Lock in Trusted Places!

You know the drill – you pull out your phone to answer an important message or quickly check your calendar, and there it is again: the access code you have to enter. Fortunately, there’s a smart solution: Smart Lock in trusted places.While securing your phone is crucial, there are times when you just want your Samsung to know itself and give you easy access. In this blog, we’ll show you how to set up and use this handy feature so you never have to enter your access code again when you’re in a trusted location.

Step 1: Open your Settings
Let’s get started! Unlock your Android phone and find the “Settings” icon. This looks like a cogwheel and is usually found on your home screen. Tap it to open the settings.

Step 2: Find “Smart Lock” in the search bar
Within the settings, use the search bar at the top of the screen and type “Smart Lock. As you type, the “Smart Lock” option appears in the search results.

Step 3: Tap ‘Smart Lock’
Tap the ‘Smart Lock’ option in the search results to access the Smart Lock settings.

Step 4: Click “Smart Lock” again
Now you are in the Smart Lock menu. Tap “Smart Lock” again to start configuration.

Step 5: Enter your access code
For security reasons, you will be asked to enter your access code before you can proceed.

Step 6: Tap “Trusted Places”
Once in the Smart Lock menu, you will see various options for unlocking your Android based on certain criteria. Tap “Trusted Places.

Step 7: Click ‘Add trusted location’
Now you can set up your trusted locations. Tap “Add trusted place” to get started.

Step 8: Find your address at
Enter your address or search for your location on the map. Android will save this location as a trusted location.

Step 9: Then press OK
Confirm your selected location by tapping “OK.

Congratulations! You have successfully set up Smart Lock on your Android phone. Now, when you are in this trusted location, you don’t have to enter your access code to access your phone. This can be particularly useful when you are at home, in the office or other familiar places where your phone is safe.

With Smart Lock, you no longer have to worry about remembering or entering your access code in situations where it just isn’t necessary. Enjoy the convenience and efficiency this feature brings, while still keeping your phone secure.
