At ThePhoneLab, you get a standard 3-month warranty on your repair or accessory.


Extend your warranty for free

After your repair, you will receive an email from us.
Click the "Claim my warranty" button and you will automatically extend your warranty.
That's all!


What is covered under my warranty?

If a problem arises with the repaired part, or if the problem is clearly traceable to the repair, it is covered by ThePhoneLab's warranty.


How long is my warranty?

Your guarantee is personal

The warranty is linked to:

  • the serial number of your device

  • your name in our system

This way we can always check if your warranty is still active.
Please note that the lifetime warranty is personal and is not transferred if the device changes hands.


When does the warranty not apply?

We do not provide a warranty with:

  • Moisture damage, drop or impact damage

  • Damage caused by others than ThePhoneLab

  • Normal wear such as scratches or OLED burn-in

These exceptions also apply:

  • Motherboard repairs or complete device replacement (swap): 3 months

  • Water damage repairs (including subsequent motherboard repairs)

  • Partial repairs (if specifically noted on the receipt)

  • Cable issues with foldable devices (such as Samsung Z series or laptops/MacBooks)
    - due to wear and tear from frequent unfolding and folding

When you have your device repaired at ThePhoneLab, your manufacturer's warranty may possibly be voided. This depends on the brand and quality of the part.


Battery Guarantee

A battery wears out over time - that's normal.
That's why batteries come with a 12-month warranty instead of a lifetime warranty.

Within this period, warranty applies if:

  • the maximum capacity drops below 80%, or

  • there is another manufacturing or assembly problem.


Warranty on screen protectors

You get a 2-week adhesive guarantee.
Have your screen protector installed by us?
Turns out within two weeks that it's not a good fit?
Come back with the original screen protector - we will install a new one free of charge.


Problems with your repair?

  1. Are you experiencing a problem?
    Please visit one of our stores.
    Our specialists will investigate the cause at no charge.
  2. Turns out that the problem is attributable to the previously replaced part?
    Then we will replace it for you free of charge.
