iPhone Setup: Background Removal in a Snap!

Modern smartphones offer us plenty of great options for editing and personalizing photos. One of the lesser known, but no less impressive, features is the ability to remove the background from your photos on your iPhone. This feature opens the door to all sorts of creative options, whether you want to create your own stickers, adjust the background of a photo, or simply remove distracting elements from your images.

Step 1: Open your Photos
Start by opening the Photos app on your iPhone. Browse your photo library and select the images whose background you want to remove. This can be one or several photos, depending on your needs.

Step 2: Press “Share.
At the bottom of the screen you will see a part icon. Tap this to access the sharing options.

Step 3: Save to Files
Scroll down the submenu and choose “Save to Files. This will save the selected images to your files.

Step 4: Click on “Save.
On the next screen, tap “Save” in the upper right corner to save the images.

Step 5: Go to your Files
Now return to your home screen and open the “Files” app.

Step 6: Select and Select All
In the “Files” app, tap “Select” at the top right and then choose “Select All. This selects all previously saved images.

Step 7: Press the Three Dots
At the bottom of the screen you will see three dots. Tap this to open additional options.

Step 8: Remove the Background
In the list of options that appears, select “Remove Background. Now your iPhone will automatically remove the background from the selected images.

You now have images without background that you can use as you like.
