Sim unlock iPhone? Follow these steps!
Are you unable to unlock your sim? This is a problem because without an unlocked sim, you cannot use mobile data and you cannot make calls. Your iPhone without an unlocked SIM becomes a bit useless so. But no stress, this blog covers the following topics:

Why do I need to enter a simpin code?
The simpin code prevents others from using your SIM card for phone calls or mobile data. When you reboot your iPhone, turn it on or remove the SIM card, the SIM card is locked. When you enter the correct code, you unlock your iPhone’s SIM.
Sim unlock iPhone, how to do it?
When you turn on your iPhone, you get a window where you can enter the simpin code. Did you accidentally click this one away? There are 2 ways how you can still enter the code. The quickest way is to put your iPhone on airplane mode and immediately after turn airplane mode off again. The window will now reappear on the screen.
Enable or disable Sim unlock
- Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Mobile Network’ > ‘Simpin Code’.
- Enable or disable the simpin code.
- Enter the simpin code when prompted. Haven’t used a simpin code before? Then set the default PIN given to you by your provider. Contact your provider if you don’t know the default PIN. Never guess the code, if you guess wrong the SIM card may be permanently blocked.
- Click “Done.
Change Simpin Code
Most people’s simpin codes are 0000 or 1234, so for thieves it’s ideal! If you want to secure your iPhone and SIM card properly, it is important to change the SIM PIN. You do this as follows:
- Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Mobile Network’ > ‘Simpin Code’.
- Click on ‘Change pin code’
- Enter your current PIN and choose a new one.
Simpin code forgotten, now what?
Did you forget the simpin code? Then try not to gamble. If you enter the wrong code three times, the SIM card is permanently blocked and you need the PUK code to regain access. For problems with simpin code or PUK code, it is best to contact your provider. By removing the SIM card from the iPhone, you can see the logo or name of the provider if you have forgotten it. Cannot unlock the SIM card with the simpin code or PUK code or do you get the message “Maximum pukcode entry”? Then ask your provider for a new SIM card.
