About Tim

Tim has been with ThePhoneLab since 2023 and has been repairing since 2014. As regional manager for Southern Netherlands, he combines leadership with a solid technical foundation. His passion for repairing started as a hobby and grew into a profession where technique and customer focus come together. Within ThePhoneLab, Tim is active in Rotterdam, Breda, Tilburg, Eindhoven and Maastricht, among others. He supports the stores in the region and monitors quality and customer experience, while remaining technically involved himself.

His specialty is Samsung devices. With over eight years of experience at Samsung, that feels like a warm bath to him. He also enjoys working on laptops and MacBooks, especially the thinner models that require just a bit more technical attention and precision. That complexity makes it interesting.

When doing a diagnostic, Tim always starts with the basics. What is the device still doing? Is it displaying, charging, responding? From there, he systematically builds on. Customers especially appreciate his clear roadmap and clear communication.

For Tim, quality is about an appliance that is technically tiptop and neatly handed over. The real satisfaction is when a customer leaves the store happy. In his spare time, he prefers to be out and about with his daughter. Going to the Efteling and other amusement parks together is their favorite outing.
