About Zohra

Zohra has worked at ThePhoneLab as purchasing manager since July 2022. However, her experience in the telecom and repair industry goes back much further. She has been in the world of phone, tablet and laptop repairs since 2012.

The industry is actually in her blood. She grew up in a family that was active in telecom and worked in her father’s store from an early age. She later worked with her brother in the industry and eventually decided to start her own business. In 2016, she opened her own store in Haarlem, where she enjoyed being an entrepreneur for six years. During that time, she worked as an official Samsung service partner and Apple repair partner, among other things.

After the birth of her child, Zohra decided to sell her store and take a new step. Not long after, she joined ThePhoneLab, where she puts her experience to use in the purchasing department. Within ThePhoneLab, she is responsible for the product and service offerings around repairs. This means that she deals with the full chain of parts: from suppliers in China to the stock in the external warehouse and finally the availability of parts in the stores. Her goal is to ensure that specialists always have the right parts to perform repairs quickly and properly.

What gives Zohra the most satisfaction in her work is when everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. When stores can operate without any problems because the stock is correct and the quality is good. The less she hears from the stores, the better.

Outside of work, she prefers to spend time with her family. On weekends, she likes to go out with family and friends, or just enjoy a quiet evening on the couch with a good movie.
